Florin – who celebrates its 65th birthday this year – exhibited its products at the largest global meeting of its own branded products. Nearly 2,500 exhibiting companies from all over the world presented themselves at 50 national and regional pavilions at the PLMA International Trade Fair in Amsterdam.
The goal of the PLMA “World of Private Label” International Trade Fair, which has been held for 35 years, is to bring together retailers, wholesalers and professionals with the representatives of manufacturers.
“Participating in a global event to promote our own brands is a great opportunity to promote our contract manufacturing opportunities, find new products, build new relationships, and discover new ideas that help our innovative product development,” said Attila Barta, the CEO of Florin. He added that during the 2 days of the exhibition, nearly 60 potential new partners visited the company’s stand. This is perhaps the most efficient and productive way for Florin to gain new export markets. According to the PLMA Association, the growing popularity of own-brands has led to unprecedented market share worldwide in recent years, and they have maintained their strong position in most markets, during the pandemic situation too. Today, more than 40% of our own-brand products are sold in seven European countries and more than 30% in nine other European countries.
